about our programs

building community, one activity at a time

At Iron Village Preparatory Academy, we believe in creating opportunities for students to thrive academically, culturally and socially. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of students and families while fostering a love for learning, a celebration of diverse cultures and a commitment to community engagement. From our microschool to dynamic workshops and camps, we offer a variety of experiences that empower students to explore, lead and grow.

Summer Camp

At Enrich & Empower Institute’s Summer Program, we invite rising K–8th graders on a transformative journey of self-discovery, cultural appreciation and empowerment. Each week, campers dive into hands-on themes that blend learning with joy—like turning everyday items into art through sustainable creativity, exploring global traditions in our cultural cuisine labs and traveling the world through language, music and movement. Our campers don’t just observe—they engage, create and connect in ways that build confidence and curiosity.

From STEM explorations that spotlight Black, brown and Indigenous innovators to inclusive Book Club discussions and guided journaling, every moment is rooted in affirmation and representation. Campers also practice mindfulness and movement through yoga and breathwork, nurturing emotional wellness and self-awareness. It’s more than just summer fun—it’s a space where kids are seen, celebrated and empowered to lead with curiosity and heart.

Summer programming will resume in 2026.

Weekend Workshops

Our Weekend Workshops are monthly experiences designed to ignite a love of learning outside the traditional classroom. These hands-on sessions focus on a variety of themes, from science and technology to the arts and cultural celebrations. Open to students of all backgrounds, our workshops are an opportunity for kids to explore new interests, develop new skills and connect with peers in a supportive environment.

Workshops for the 2024-25 school year are now complete. Workshops will resume in August 2025.

E2 in the Community

Through our E2 in the Community initiative, we bring our unique, affirming programming to local schools, churches and community organizations. From one-day pop-ups to after-school programs and seasonal camps, we partner with organizations to provide enriching experiences focused on academic empowerment, cultural celebration and community engagement.
